Implant Dentistry

Dental implant

What is a dental implant?

It is an ideal tooth restoration for individuals who are missing one or more teeth, which could be caused by an injury, periodontal disease or any other reason.

How does it work?

A metal post is surgically positioned into the jaw by a periodontist or oral surgeon. After it's in place and the bone surrounding the implant has time to heal, a replacement tooth is attached to the past.

Superior Benefits

Implants can be expensive, however they have great benefits.

  • They are stronger than natural teeth.
  • Generally last 10-20 years
  • Don't depend on neighboring teeth

Qualification

In order to receive implants, you must have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. Also, you need to be committed to excellent oral hygiene and regular dental visits.
